A 20-foot container holds about 28 CBM of packed teak root furniture and a 40-foot high cube about 65 CBM. In practice that is roughly 25 pieces of 120 cm dining tables per 20-foot container, or 10 pieces of 200 cm tables, and the balance is usually filled with coffee tables, stools, bowls and decorative pieces.

How many teak root dining tables fit in a 20-foot container?
Between about 10 and 40 pieces, depending on diameter. A 200 cm table takes 2.43 CBM, so roughly 11 per 20-foot container; a 120 cm table takes 1.08 CBM, so about 25. Smaller coffee tables and stools fill the balance of the load.
How many pieces fit in a 40-foot high cube?
Roughly double the 20-foot figure. Using 65 CBM of usable space: about 60 pieces of 120 cm dining tables, or around 1,100 wooden bowls, or any mix that adds up to that volume.
Is a container limited by weight or by volume?
By volume. Teak root furniture is light for its size - a full 20-foot container of tables is normally well below the road weight limit - so the CBM figure, not the kilogram figure, decides how many pieces ship.
What is CBM and how is it calculated here?
CBM is cubic metres: height x width x depth in metres. Each figure in our price list is the bounding box of the piece, so actual loading can be slightly more efficient when items nest or stack.
Can one container combine different products?
Yes - mixed containers are our standard. A typical first order fills one 20-foot container with two or three table sizes plus stools, bowls and decorative pieces, so the buyer can test the range.
Do glass tops change the volume?
They add a small amount per table because glass is packed flat and separately. We include it in the loading plan and show the final CBM before the container is booked.
