From your concept to production
Custom manufacturing fails when the brief is vague. Our process is built to remove that ambiguity before production starts, so what arrives in the container matches what you approved. Every custom project moves through the same six steps.
01 Send your design
Send us what you have: a technical drawing, a sketch, a reference photo, a competitor sample, or even a description of the piece plus dimensions. You do not need a fully engineered file to begin.
02 Discuss requirements
We review the design against what teak root can realistically do, then discuss size, finish, quantities, target price and timeline. This is where we flag anything that needs adjusting before it becomes expensive to change.
03 Sample or prototype
For custom pieces we can produce a sample or prototype for your approval. You see the actual material, finish and proportions before committing to a production run. Tell us at this stage if a sample is required.
04 Mass production
Once the specification is approved, we produce the full order. Because the pieces are handmade, we work in batches to keep sizes and finishes consistent across the run.
05 Quality control
Each batch is checked for dimension, finish, stability and material soundness before packing. Our production team, led by our Expert Production & Quality Director, reviews the order against the approved specification.
06 Export
We pack to an export stacking plan in single-face carton, load against a packing list, and ship FOB Semarang. We prepare the standard export documents and confirm any additional certificate your market requires before the vessel sails.

What to send with your enquiry
The more you send, the faster and more accurate the quotation. Useful items include:
- Drawings, sketches or reference images
- Dimensions: length, width, height and any fixed constraints
- Quantities per item
- Preferred finish, or a sample of the finish you want to match
- Destination country, so we can flag document requirements
- Your target price and timeline, if you have them
- Branding details, if this is a private-label order

Custom capabilities
We build to order across four areas:
- Custom size. Pieces made to your dimensions, within what the material allows.
- Custom finish. Oil or lacquer in the tone and sheen your project needs.
- Custom design. New pieces developed from your drawings or references, including prototypes.
- Private label. Production under your own brand for retail, trade or a hospitality project.
We do not publish certifications or awards we do not hold. If your market requires a specific document, tell us and we will confirm what we can provide — otherwise we will say it is available on request and follow up.

Custom work takes a little longer than a catalogue order because of design review and, where required, a sample. Build the 12 weeks into your schedule from the point the deposit is paid.
Design confidentiality
We understand that a custom design is your intellectual property. We treat client designs as confidential and do not reproduce a buyer's proprietary design for other customers. If your project requires a signed non-disclosure agreement, raise it at the start and we will review it.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a complete technical drawing to start?
No. A sketch, reference image or clear description with dimensions is enough to begin. We will discuss what details are needed as we go.
Can you produce a sample before the full order?
Yes, for custom pieces we can produce a sample or prototype for approval. Confirm at the quoting stage so we can build it into the schedule.
Will you make my design for someone else?
No. Client designs are treated as confidential and are not reproduced for other buyers.
Can I combine custom and catalogue pieces in one order?
Yes. A mixed 20ft container can include both new custom pieces and items from our standard range.
Can I order under my own brand?
Yes. Private label production is available. Provide your branding and packaging requirements at the quoting stage.
